OHJGS celebrate Danny Boy’s Wedding 1st September 2018

The Society were well represented at the wedding of Dan Burstow and his fiancée Tessa. The ceremony was held at the College Chapel where Tessa’s Grandfather told the story of their relationship in a remarkable poem and received a rapturous round of applause.

The service concluded with a hearty rendition of Jerusalem.

We then retired to Leonardslee Gardens at Lower Beeding for the Reception on a gloriously sunny afternoon. It was an African themed day and a superb meal was washed down with some excellent South African wines. We were entertained by some excellent speeches, although Dan’s character was not completely assassinated!!

A great day in two perfect settings.

We wish Dan & Tess a long and happy marriage together.
