Dudley Stratford bowed out as President of the OHJGS after an extraordinary run of Secretary to the society followed by its President across four decades. Dudley joined the society shortly after leaving Hurst and first played in the Halford Hewitt in the late 1950’s.

The evening also saw us thank John Fraser for a very successful year as Captain during 2015 as he handed over to this years Captain, Graham Negus. Graham was pleased to report that Mark Baldock had accepted his invitation to be his Vice Captain for 2016, and he saw this as an important move in strengthening the ties between the Halford Hewitt players and the social hard core of the society.
