THE SCHEDULE:
Monday 14 June – Swaffham GC – mid/late morning start to accommodate travel, for Bacon Baps +18 holes, then move on to George Hotel, Swaffham for 2 nights D/B/B – all Single rooms. Meals TBA that evening (personal choice/personal cost).
Tuesday 15 June – Hunstanton GC – 18 holes morning + Snacks + option few extra holes pm.
Return to George for Dinner + Wines (as before), included in package.
Wednesday 16 June – Thetford GC – 18 holes morning + snacks + prizes + depart.
Anticipated Budget not to exceed £300/310 as defined above BUT personal extras for snacks, refreshments and buggies, at the venues as desired. You all know the form and the budget will be as close to 2017 as is possible. The Hotel and Venues are being very reasonable about the carry overs from last year’s plans.
ELIGIBILITY – the Tour is OPEN to ALL Members, BUT the 3 venue cumulative Trophy is only available to eligible over 55s/Seniors. There will be NO Handicap amendments for the three cumulative scores, as that is all one single competition, but renewed OHJGS handicap rules will apply for each daily event. Competitions and Prizes separately each day at each venue.
How does that sound? I hope it appeals as much or more than before and that you will be able to fit these new dates into your golfing diaries. I will welcome an indication of intent as soon as you can do so, to assist with detail planning – (NO deposit necessary at this early stage).
