The Halford Hewitt main event follows one week after our official practice weekend. We unusually drawn to play at Royal St George’s Golf Club on Friday 31st March, one day later that usual. We play King Edwards Birmingham, so in our terms that is a good draw and as you can see below, we have a strong and youthful team to select from. On Thursday 30th the team will be playing in the Peter Kenyan Bowl, a stableford competition off handicap that is open to all team members from each of the 64 schools and it is played at Princess golf club in Sandwich.
We have a busy social calendar of golf in addition to our serious matches, with Derick Fulcher organising golf at Princess GC and Rye for the band of supporters who also attend representing Hurstpierpoint. Current details of attendees and fixtures appears below. Its great to see Will Collard and Charlie Parsons out for the team for the first time and a very strong line up with our lowest ever handicap average across our likely team of team sitting at just 2.9!
